Why do I like this shitty punk band called M.O.T.O.?
They really don't seem like a band I would like... Or do they? I obtained their first album of sorts as a promo (or was it an attempt at distribution that I failed to pick up on? I don't remember...) and filed it under "f" for "forget it". Cinque started playing their cynical shit at the cafe and now... I guess... I'm, uh, a, uh, fan? "extra distortion for a girl like you"? Hmmm.
What a weird thing...
Well, anyway, I'll spare you the stories of drunken skirt wearing at three in the afternoon on the porch drinking in a highly Christian neighborhood... I'll also spare you the review of the horse/tit-fucking-softcore-porn-french horror flick... I'll also spare you the stories and rumors that you're probably reading this for anyways.... Whoops, didn't mean to screw ya there, oh well... Junkies in hospitals, tears, exes, love?, nah, yes?, ugh, friends getting fucked on rent.
Okay, I got three hours of sleep before Spiderbaby practice (I still can't remember what I did with Nick's copy of that film...). I woke up drunk/hungover and had to drum... I think we have half of a new song. I hope Betsy didn't expect to come back and find an album's worth of material waiting for her to write parts for. Well, that was good. Then Bets and I had a good ol' fashioned pity party that ended in tears. THEN I ran into Nikki who seemed to want to comfort me. Well, kill my enemies, help my friends, give me money and kiss me lots and I'll be comforted, yeah, so that didn't help too much. I did end up having a little Punk Rock dance party in my room to cheer myself up (think Alternative Television's "Life"). Aaah, that's why they call me the king of the bop.
